Conveniently located adjacent to Interstate 93, Routes 101 & the F.E. Everett Turnpike, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is 45 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport, 15 minutes from the Massachusetts border and a 2.5 hour drive to the New Hampshire's North Country.
Air service advantages:
- Budget Travel Magazine has ranked the airport as "one of the cheapest airports" in the United States and one of the "best kept secrets in New England."
- USA Today has ranked the airport best in the country for hourly parking.
- Consumer Reports has ranked the airport as one of the top five in the country for convenience.
International Capacity — The airport has full time customs, U.S. Department of Agriculture Services, and U.S. Immigration and Naturalization services, but international commercial customer flights in the region land at Boston Logan.
Air Cargo Capacity – UPS/FedEx/Airborne Express/Mountain Air/Telford Aviation. One of New Hampshire's largest UPS customers, Kheops International, is located in North Country.
New Improvements — In the last several years, the airport has opened a 70,000 square foot passenger terminal addition, a six-level, 4,800 space parking garage and an elevated pedestrian walkway connecting the garage to the terminal. There will also be a new bridge and exit ramp completed soon that will connect directly to the airport from Route 3.
Over the next ten years, New Hampshire's Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is expected to have the highest growth rate (88%) in New England among airports serving more than 1 million passengers a year.
Businesses are moving to New Hampshire to take advantage of the airport's easy access, competitive airfares, ample affordable parking and a growing schedule of non-stop and direct jet service. All of these advantages make Manchester the airport of choice in New England.

Telecommunications
High speed telecommunications is available in most major centers and towns in North Country. Cable and DSL technologies are most dominant for a best-effort service, and priced accordingly. Regulated traditional T1-s, frame, and ATM are available to the most remote places with a guaranteed quality of service. While wireless technologies serve many remote pockets, there are many initiatives that seek to connect even the most isolated locations with broadband. Satellite service is available everywhere. Most of the fiber belongs to the incumbent ILEC for interoffice transport and redundancy but many smaller communication companies are stringing fiber upon request to qualified customers. The following companies provide service in the region: FairPoint Communications, Segtel, G4, Bayring, Time Warner Cable, Argent Communications, NCIA, Wireless Linc, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular and Great Auk Wireless. |
